Pastor John Collins, Evangelist, Montana Tour: JESUS IS NOT JUST "SOME MAN"

Evangelist Pastor John Collins is spreading the Word of Christ throughout the United States.

In a nationwide tour, John Collins, Pastor of Love That Cross Ministries is bringing truth of the Bible and God back to the small community churches that have been left behind in the rush of creating megachurches that do not fill the soul and in reality fill the pockets of those who run them through prosperity doctrine

From community pulpits across Montana, east coast and Midwest, Pastor John Collins is redeeming the gospel, one church at a time through revivals.

Pastor John Collins’ dynamic style compels us to examine where our faith is, where our hearts truly are, and where we are headed in eternity.  His down to earth preaching makes it easy to hear what God is telling us, has been telling us, for the ages.  It’s time for the United States to come back to God.

John Collins, Pastor and Evangelist says:

“Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed Him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned, every one, to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:4-6.

This world is not innocent. So, why do so many take things so personally and get so offended by the grief that comes with life? Why do so many place the blame squarely upon the shoulders of God? What is wrong with sorrow and grief? It teaches you to appreciate the joy and hope. What is wrong with sickness and death? It teaches you that there are seasons to life and health is not a guarantee. What is wrong with loss? It teaches you to appreciate what you have. There is beauty and wonder that we have feelings at all. Life is precious and filled with the ability to emotionally connect with others and death is filled with hope because Jesus has made it possible for you to continue loving those that you love.

People want to feel wounded and offended that they have suffered in this life and they want someone to blame and want to complain about it all, to be the victim. There are victims in this life and there are terrible things that happen, but that is part of living among others who have the same opportunity as you have and that is free will. There are bad people in this world and there is evil in this world and that is something that we all have to deal with for now. It doesn’t mean that anyone has the right to blame God or to sit on the pity pot because as long as there is breath in your body, there is hope for salvation and you will not be gaining salvation while there is resentment for God and bitterness toward Him because you find your sufferings too big to accept.

Jesus did not grow old. Jesus did not get gray hair and lose His eyesight. Jesus did not raise a family and rock His child to sleep. Jesus did not take vacations and travel around the world to see different places. Jesus did not have the luxury of a long life. Jesus came to this world and from His earliest age was doing the work of His Father. Jesus concerned Himself with His people, His land and the salvation of this world. Jesus taught others and took the time to heal others and be kind. Jesus is perfect and yet He suffered for you. Jesus was ridiculed and mocked, beaten and hung on a cross to die. For you.

This is not a fairy tale that you have outgrown. This happened. Jesus is not just some man that lived long ago. Jesus is the Son of God and your Savior. Think about just how much you do have to be thankful for this week. As you make your plans to gather together for a meal and rejoicing, think about the times that Jesus gathered with His people for a meal. Jesus always was thinking of others, the salvation of souls. In the end that is what counts because the soul is eternal and we should all be thinking in that manner, maybe then awareness of the enormity of the gift that Christ has made possible for us all would truly sink in and gratefulness, the kind that produces life, would follow.

“And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, ‘Take, eat; this is My body.’ Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, ‘Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until the day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.’” Matthew 26:26-29.

Pastor John Collins presses the compelling point: where is your heart?

Does it truly belong to God?  Can you withstand the judgement of a just and very real God if you had to stand before Him today?  Are you doing everything you can to get back to God, get back to Jesus when you leave this life?  It’s surely a choice of heaven or hell.  Jesus is real, Heaven is real, Hell is real.  This world is not the be all and end all for us once we die, and God is not to blame for how things are.  It’s time to turn to Christ, to God and hear what our hearts are telling us.

Pastor John Collins' Montana Tour: God's love and the hardest lessons are the ones we learn best

John Collins' Montana Revival Tour: The hardest lessons are the ones we learn best

Pastor John Collins, Evangelist with Love That Cross Ministries and Revival, brings revival across the United States.

Evangelist and Pastor, John Collins is committed to bring back God one person and one church at a time. From the beginning of Love That Cross Ministries and Love That Cross Revival in Wyoming, Pastor John Collins continues to preach that all people need to examine where they are in the eyes of God, and where they stand in their faith in Jesus Christ.  Our very salvation depends upon it.

Pastor John Collins is determined to bring back God to each person, each church, one person and one church at a time.

John Collins is a pastor and an evangelist who is bringing that word of God across the United States in a new series of Hope and Trust.  The truth of God and of Jesus Christ is being preached so that all can understand it in down to earth words so that we all can once again understand the words of Christ and what was meant when Jesus came to be our Savior from death over 2000 years ago.

Pastor John Collins does not cut corners, does not pad the truth, and does not pull his punches.

Is God great?  Is God loving?  Is God real?  Why am I here?  These are the questions that people are still looking for, even after the hope that is Christ was sent here to us so that we could know these answers.  Our faith is nothing compared to what those in the Holy Bible had.  The generations of people from the time of Jesus until now have watered the message down so much that the very words of the current Bible translations change the meaning of the message that God has for us! God is there for us.

Pastor John Collins says:

“Now a certain ruler asked Him, saying, ‘Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?’ So, Jesus said to him, ‘Why do you call Me good? No one is good but One, that is, God’” Luke 18:18-19 (NKJV).

God is not only good, but great! God is just fabulous. God is faithful and true, merciful and kind, righteous and just and He loves you. God does want the best for you but He also wants you to learn to want what is best for you and that is not by your standards or the standards of the world but by His standards.

God does know what you need and I am not talking about material things. God knows what you need to assure that your soul is saved. It takes more than just a casual ‘belief’ that Jesus died on the Cross for you in order for you to obtain salvation and entry into heaven. It takes a true faith in Jesus and that faith will produce a belief in His sacrifice that is so strong that it will lead you into obedience to His will.

God will test you and you will go through tough times that will challenge your faith and belief. You will be put in situations that will give you different opportunities and the choices that you make are what adds up to a lifetime of testimony and what will ultimately be the fight of your life. Free will demands that you choose the paths of your life and each day will present itself with different choices. Are you loyal to God? Are you considering God when you make your choices and are you taking your salvation into consideration as you live your life?

Some people may think that God is absent from their lives, or that God has let them down. God is there and God is watching, waiting, and giving you the freedom to choose Him or not. God knows that the hardest lessons in life are the ones that we learn the best. Do your best to limit your frustrations in life by taking a moment to remember that life is short and what we do here matters. Remember that most of what seems overwhelming today may be forgotten a year from now. Trust that in the good times and in the bad times, God is there and has your best interests at heart. God wants you to learn to do what is right but more importantly, God wants you to want to do what is right.

God is amazing and is so beautiful and strong and capable. You can trust God and you can rely on God and know that He won’t let you down even if you may be struggling to deal with tough times in your life there is hope because God loves you. God knows what is right and good and will not let you down. Trust in Him, obey Him and believe in His Son and salvation is yours.

“The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26” (NKJV).

What isn’t being preached in the pulpits today is that we have to make the commitment to Christ and to God to do what is right.  We have to make the commitment to act Christ-like, to love others, to serve, to obey what His Son taught over 2000 years ago.  God IS real.  God’s NOT dead.  God IS there.  He has never stopped loving us humans, even when we deny Him, blame Him, ignore Him.  He IS the loving Father that we all want.  He loves us so much He knew we would be just this way, and He gave us the chance of salvation by sending Jesus Christ to us to help us understand, to teach us.  We all have that place for God built into our hearts.

Pastor John encourages us to open that Bible, to read about God and His Son, to pray and to simply ask God and Jesus for help.  That’s what is expected of us.  To seek Them, with all our hearts.

Evangelist Pastor John Collins: Corrupt preachers

Montana: John Collins, Pastor and Evangelist, God's Church is corrupted.

"People can look at the televangelists and see slimy salesmen just doing all that they can to get you to open your wallet and give your hard earned money to them. The church is corrupt. The majority of pastors are thieves and liars and don’t even believe what they are selling as is evident in the lives that they are leading..."

Pastor John Collins: It's a time of new awakening.

Christians today are faced with the same problems that the Christians of the very beginning had. Jesus Christ preached Truth.  The apostles went out through the world of that day and spread the News of the Gospel.  As quickly as it was spread, man put in extra beliefs and rituals, or meanings, words, and expectations that were never intended by Jesus.  As one goes into a church today or watches the messages of those on television, the messages of the Holy Bible are often twisted to suit the individual preaching-whether for personal gain or personal glory, it does not communicate clearly what God and Jesus Christ intended when it was written.  Some have taken it so far as to corrupt Christianity, making being a Christian despicable instead of the wonderful personal relationship that you can have with God and with Jesus Christ.  Even seasoned Christians watch and listen to these preachers and the watered down messages are absorbed without the discernment and understanding that should be bursting from our hearts as Christians.

Pastor John Collins says:

“And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord who has enabled me, because He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry, although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.”  1 Timothy 1:12-13 (NKJV).

Paul was thankful for the grace that was bestowed upon him by God in allowing him to see Jesus and know the truth. Paul suffered for the truth and it is our great benefit that he did. Paul set forth to run his race of faith and to gather as many souls to Christ as possible in his lifetime with the opportunities that God permitted him. And people believed, and followed.

Unfortunately the church that sprang up from the efforts of the Apostles of Christ was soon corrupted and truth to tell was corrupted while they were still alive as John attests to. Men have been given free will and so many of those men will seek to lift themselves up by whatever means necessary in order to obtain the life, admiration of others and monetary rewards that they feel are their due. In all the years since our Lord has died on the Cross nothing has changed and it has led to a falling away from the church and a falling away from faith.

People are educated now and want scientific answers to their questions. Some use this as an excuse to forgo their faith and reject the gospel of Jesus. People don’t have the superstitions that they once did and can see clearly that those of previous generations were duped by clever people wanting to take advantage of them. People can look at the televangelists and see slimy salesmen just doing all that they can to get you to open your wallet and give your hard earned money to them. The church is corrupt. The majority of pastors are thieves and liars and don’t even believe what they are selling as is evident in the lives that they are leading. Faith is failing and Satan is winning too many, just too many souls are perishing because of this decline in belief.

Just because the majority is choosing to live life now and seek happiness and to enjoy everything that this world has to offer while forgoing faith, church and the hope of salvation does not mean that you should. Heaven is real and so is hell which means that you will end up in one of those places. That is the truth. Just because the churches have become corrupt and are run by so many corrupt preachers does not mean that the truth of heaven has gone away or the truth of hell.

So, what is the answer? The good book is the answer for today. The Holy Bible KJV or the NKJV is the answer. Your home is your sanctuary and since you can’t trust those T.V. evangelists or the preachers of the megachurches or maybe even the pastors of the local churches then trust yourself and be willing to pick up the Bible and read it. Get to know what God wants from you, what Jesus wants from you and get to know what sin is and what sin isn’t. Don’t make excuses and give up on your faith because you see the greed in the church. That is man’s will to use God for his gain and believe me they will be judged for doing so and will pay the price. But don’t allow the corruption of another to drag you along with them into the pits of hell. Take control of your own life and give that life to God. Do what is right and come to know the Lord. You don’t need to go to a church to do so. Read your Bible and trust in the power of prayer. Learn to ask God for a pure heart, a forgiving heart and a heart full of the truth of the Lord. When the truth of God is in your heart you will know if a pastor is righteous or not and will easily be able to find a church that is grounded in faith and will easily be able to discern if a pastor is off in his message and is geared toward greed or is skewing the gospel and will be quick to leave that church or you can just keep your relationship with God simple and worship in your home with your family. It is up to you to choose how you wish to pursue running the race and fighting the good fight.

Don’t take the sacrifice of Jesus for granted. Trust in His work and in the mercy of God.

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Timothy 2:15 (NKJV).”

We have to be diligent in our journey and race for our lives in eternity.  There is eternity.  Jesus Christ’s death on the Cross gives us a chance to live that eternity with our Father, our Creator, in heaven, instead of with Satan, the father of sin.  What we do here, now, and how we do it is the recipe for how that journey and race will end.  ALL of us need find the Truth of Christ and take in into our very hearts.
